Fashion In the FEI Disciplines
For those used to the flashier dress codes of Western athletes, watching an English competition may seem rather bland. But paying close attention to detail will reveal a nuance of style that is consistent but subtle within the different categories of FEI events.
Disclaimer: This is not intended as a definitive list of proper apparel for competitors, but rather an idea of what's in or what's common at the FEI levels of dressage, show jumping, and eventing - check with your sport's applicable rules, and with your own coach or trainer to see what items would suit you best.
Also, non-FEI level competitors have different fashion requirements in dressage and eventing - namely no shadbellys or top hats, but instead hunt coats and hunt caps or derbies.
